MATHESON, James Stafford Sadly passed away in his sleep at home, 9 July 2011. Much loved son of Shirley Watson (deceased), George Matheson (deceased), much loved brother of Peter Matheson (deceased), Jill Thompson (nee Matheson) and brother-in-law to Nick Thompson of Sydney. Much loved uncle of Sally Murdaca, Katrina Krueger and Megan Surplice and good friend to Ralph and Dave. Much loved also by his great nieces and nephews Mavy, Andy, Jordy, Max and Willow (all of Brisbane) and related uncle to Maria and Robert. Once a day and sometimes more You will knock upon our daydream door And we will say warmly come right in, I'm glad your here with us again. Then we'll sit down and have a chat Recalling this and discussing that Until some task that we must do, forces us away from you. Reluctantly we say goodbye, very sadly with a little sigh For though our daydreams will bring you near We'll wish that you are really here. But what reality cannot change our dreams and wishes can rearrange And through our wishing, you'll be brought To us each day, our brother and great friend in thought. James, you will be so sadly missed, rest peacefully.
