James LAW Obituary

LAW, James Malcolm (Jim). Peacefully on Tuesday 10th September 2024 at home in Thornton, aged 98. Dearly loved husband of the late Kath (nee Adams) for 68 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Murray and Barbara, Atholl and Janet, Jeff and Shona, Adrian and Vicki, and father-in-law of Sue and Steph (dec). Much loved and admired grandad of Jennie and Fraser, Simon, Nicki and Hamish, Dan, Nick and Matt, Cameron, and Mitchell. Loved great grandad of Robbie and Alexander, Jessica, Harper, and Evelyn. Loved brother of Joyce (dec) and Russell (dec), and brother-in-law to Jack (dec), George (dec), and Bert (dec). A celebration of Jim's life will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services, 21 King Street, Whakatane, on Thursday 19th September at 11am followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory can be sent to Hospice EBOP or may be left at the service.
