James GRASSICK Obituary

GRASSICK, James Thomas Rennie (Jim). Passed away peacefully at his home on September 18th 2022. Dearly loved father of Margy, Jamie, Mike and the (late) Richard. Loved father-in-law of Mike, Kirsten and Angela. Much loved grandad to Joan, Taylor, Calum, and Alanah. Loved brother to the (late) Heather and Bill, Ian. Loved best friend to Noelene. Jim will be laying in state at his Whangaparoa home from Thursday, September 22nd 2022. A service is to be held at 11:00am, Saturday September 24th 2022, at North Shore Memorial Park, 235 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, Auckland to celebrate Jim's life. A live stream link is available. Jim - beloved uncle of Grant (dec) and Shona and the McDonald and McHugh families- as children a loved uncle and as adults much more - our friend and trusted loved one.
Tis tis you must go ... and I just stay - Granny´s favourite song and now Jim you must go and we must stay . Beannachd Leibh - blessings be with you as we say farewell - living in our hearts and memories.

GRASSICK, James Thomas Rennie (Jim). Passed away peacefully at his home on the September 18th, 2022. Jim, you have always rowed your own boat, walked your own path, climbed your own mountains and made your own luck. You loved and valued family above all else. Your strength, courage, generosity and passion for life is an inspiration to us all. You filled your life and our lives with challenges, adventures and opportunities. You have left a huge hole in our lives and will be missed by so many. Love Margy, Mike, Joan, and Taylor.
