James DUNCAN Obituary

Duncan, James Thomas (John). Born 4 August 1936. Died peacefully on 14 January 2026 at Tōtara Hospice, surrounded by close family. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Glenice. Husband of the late Kathleen Jean (Cass). Much loved father of De-Anne, Judith, and Gordon. Loved father-in-law of Wes, Scott, and Hoa. Cherished grandfather of Molly, Aidan, Jessica, Tavish, Connor, Daisy, Dylan, Dion, and Deena. In accordance with John's wishes, there will be no funeral or service. The family extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Tōtara Hospice for their wonderful care.

Sending my condolences to Glynis. and family with moderation to hear off John´s passing ,He was a true gentle legend one off a kind who always thought off others before himself .Watching him care for his late wife Cass and his love for his family with so much aroha .I will never forget your smiley face Kia Kaha Roseanne and family
