DUFFY, James Alan (Jim). (Christian Brother) On 27th July 2016 at Auckland Hospital, second son of the late Charles and Hilda Duffy. Brother and brother in law of Axel (deceased) and Val, John and Theodora, Leslie and Winnie (deceased), Ronald and Ngaire, Sylvia and Peter Simpson and Christopher and Jeanette. Uncle and great uncle to his nephews and nieces and their children. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Assumption, 130 Church Street, Onehunga (corner of Galway and Church Street) on Tuesday 2nd August at 1pm to be followed by internment at the Mangere Lawn Cemetery. Jim and I worked together at Liston College in Henderson. He was a dedicated teacher and past pupils have fond memories of him as a teacher. Unfortunately due to ill health,I am unable to attend the funeral but he will be in my daily prayers for a happy repose of his soul.

Jim much loved brother & brother in law of Sylvia & Peter Simpson loved Uncle Jimmy of Anne Les & Lisa Great Uncle of April, Michael Roman & Ethan. Loved always and forever in our hearts. A deeply religious and wonderful man may he rest in peace.

DUFFY, James Alan (Jim). (Formerly Christian Brother Duffy). Passed away suddenly at Auckland Hospital on Wednesday 27 July 2016. A loved brother and brother-in- law to Ron and Ngaire Duffy. Uncle and great-uncle to Frances and Kris, Chelsea, Isabella and Axel Bostock, James and Anita Duffy and Gina Beazley. A gentle, loving soul who dedicated his life to the community teaching. He will be loved and remembered by us always.
