So Sorry to hear of Jim's passing.
I think of him and Judy as friend's, and have known them since 1973.
I was his head baker at the bakery his father started... Jim & Judy made us feel like extended family when we arrived from UK, never just a boss.. I remember being on his boat and his son Jamie (then about 3 years old )fell overboard and Jim dove in after him, almost before he got wet... ! He was a wonderful man both professionally and privately and will be sadly missed by many....
Our thoughts are with Judy and the family .

Jim was an amazing person I met through dialysis. I absolutely loved talking to him about how do I make my bread rise (lol). As we waited for our beds to become available, he would share loving words about his family, how I can be a better baker, and his time spent at the Howick village. Your kind gentle spirit will be missed.

Jim "D" - one of life's really good guys. Humble, honest and friendly. Built incredibly awesome pies for years in his Howick bakery. Jim it was a pleasure to have known you all those years ago. Kindest thoughts always from Brian Walker (ex Copper then Bobcats).

I was so very saddened to hear that Jim had died. My heart hurts for his family and for the many people who were fortunate to call Jim their friend. I have so many fond memories of times spent with him during our teenage years, mainly at dances and especially at the Peter Pan. Rest in peace dear Jim. You were always a very special friend to me and to my family.
