James Ronald DART

James DART Obituary

DART, James Ronald (Jim). Died on 13 April, 2018, aged 90. Loving husband of Margaret for 64 years, brother of Joan and George, loved and admired father of Andrew, Mathew, and Jeremy, and loved grandfather of their children. Born in London, loved NZ at first sight on his arrival in 1951. In his teaching and other professional and voluntary work he did much to help enhance and maintain its beauty. A service will be held on Thursday 19 April, at 11am, Selwyn Village Chapel, 43 Target Road, Point Chevalier. The Natural Funeral Co Ph 0212345650

To Margaret & family.
Remembering fondly my association with Jim in the Planning Tribunal, especially the many weeks we spent together hearing the Waihi Mine case. Also the occasional meal at your home when work brought me to Auckland. We were both surveyors so had a bond. Those Planning Tribunal days were good days albeit so long ago now. Can't make your service Jim, but will be thinking and remembering.
