James CARSELDINE Obituary

CARSELDINE, James Stewart (Jim). Aged 79.Passed away 29 April 2025 at Hastings Hospital following a stroke. Loved husband of Cheryl and father of Wendy and Peter (Australia) and Nicola (deceased) and Jason. G'dad of Adelaide.Brother of Jill Mitchinson (Tauranga), Howard (Tauranga) and Neil (deceased). Jim has been cremated and by request no service will be held.

Special memories of Jim at IRD Upper Hutt. You had the loudest sneeze in the building and made us all jump. Those were the days before the AOM programme changed the place forever and put money and outputs before people. You got out at the right time. I followed 11 years later. Your sudden passing was a shock but you are now reunited with your dear daughter Nicola. Enjoy your Heavenly adventure and I hope you catch up with other IRD people who have gone up there before you.

Sadly missed. Jim and I were good mates back in the day and shared many good times. He was Best Man at my wedding. Now united once more with his treasured daughter Nicola. RIP Jim
