James BROWN Obituary

BROWN, James Thomas (Jimmy). Passed away peacefully on Friday the 6th of October 2023, six weeks off being 100, surrounded by his loving family at Thornton Park Retirement Village, Opotiki. Cherished husband of the late Hilda Brown (nee Gosling). Treasured father to Chrissy and Jim (Deceased), Don and Cynthia, Ian and Andrea, Shirley, Doug and Tracy, and Zac and Nan. Devoted grandfather and great grandfather to Michael, Callum, Jonny, Shanay, Madi, Keegan, Niketa, Lily, Jenna, Hugo, Sebastian, Rique, Gene, Aaliyah, Safarii, Harrison, Briar, Bostyn, Thomas, Ares and Atlas. A celebration of Jimmy's life will be held at 11am on Wednesday the 11th of October 2023 at St Johns Union Church, 102 St Johns Street, Opotiki, followed by burial at Woodlands Cemetery, Opotiki.
