BLACK, James (Jim). Passed away on Wednesday 7 August 2024, aged 90. Cherished husband of Margaret. Deeply loved father and father -in-Law of John and Karen, and the late Elesia. Treasured grandad of Michelle, Marea and Jesse. The funeral service will now be held one week later than advertised in Saturday's herald. The funeral will now be held in the Main Chapel of the Morrison Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson, now on Wednesday 21 August 2024 at 12.30pm. Please note the new date of this funeral.

Dearest Jim, I'll treasure the memories of our last time together: walks in the park, leisurely breakfasts, and long talks that healed our souls. Like Yin and Yang you were the father I missed, and I the daughter. I'm so grateful for the gift you gave me of dear Elesia, my best friend and your little girl. (Thank you for driving us to our high school reunion.) I'm sure she is there to meet you on your journey home. Rest in peace, darling Jim. You are loved and deeply missed always. With all our love and deepest sympathy to John, Karen, Michelle, Marea, Jesse and family.
