Worked with Jack in Indonesia or PNG early 70s . I was a young ex TEAL engineer . Jack was a great bloke to work with. Loved a Bell 47 and working with his mates. Took a while to find this. Hope he's resting well. Bruce Ramsay

Dear Kai,
I am your cousin Bec,Jaqui's daughter. Am in NZ for xmas & New Year for 1st time in 26 years. Saw your message after I came back for Grandma's funeral & Mum told me that you existed. She said she's never met you but she told me about you & I live in Mebourne so am hoping we can meet up. Am going home tomorrow. My number is 0450 076 165. Pls contact me. Would love to have an actual family member in same country as me. I've only seen Rex once in last 20 years at least. That was at Grandads funeral,we aren't close, don't really know him at all. Anyway Mum is making you a package of all sorts of stuff about our Grandparents. Theres alot of interesting stuff I never had a clue about until they had passed away. What an amazing man! Not to mention our beautiful Grandma. Am sad u never got to meet them but to be honest I hadn't seen them much cos have always been in different country from them since I was 16. But I've always known they were amazingly tolerant people, especially having to deal with a Mum like mine, she wasn't the model teenager but they never judged her or me for that matter, they were just there when ever they were needed & we are all so lucky to have had them in our lives. Hope all is well with you, Mum sends her love. Am going to try to contact u thru email or facebook so can meet in case u don't see this. Mum really wants us to catch up. xxx xx

Dear Jacqui, PK, and Rex,
I am honoured to have known your Dad and to have enjoyed the pleasure of his company over the last few years. He had a fine mind, was modest about his achievements, and recounted tales from his action-packed life with a quiet humour. He was kind and courteous. I am sorry for your huge loss.
Kind regards, Pauline Thomas
