Our hearts go out to Joss and family. All who knew Jack understand what a calm, unassuming man he was yet he had such a presence and mana. He is a legend in our club, in Northland and in NZ's sailing circles and will long be remembered as one of those special people. He was our Club Patron, as well as taking up a working role of Rear Commodore. A great man and we are all much poorer for his passing.

Jack you are a true legend and one of the all around nicest guys we have met. So many wonderful memories of you at many sailing regattas around the world, Lots of fun and frivolity with you both in Valencia and so much passion and knowledge that you passed on to the sailing fraternity here in Whangarei, NZ yachting and worldwide. Joss, Ria and Koby - our hearts are broken for you. Sending much love from Suzy and Chris McAsey
