Ivy WHYTE Obituary

WHYTE, Ivy Florence. On Tuesday 25th March 2025, peacefully in her 92nd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Graheme. Loved and respected mother and mother in-law of David and Karen, Allan and Ann. Cherished Nana of Scott and Vanessa, Michelle and Steve. Grandma of Kristi and Scott, Peter and Julia. Great Nana to Eli, Cooper, Aidan and Tyler. The family wish to thank Whakatane Hospital and Golden Pond Staff for their care of Mum. A celebration of Ivy's life will be held in the Chapel of Willetts Funeral Services Ltd, 21 King Street, Whakatane on Monday 31st March at 11am followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donation would be appreciated to EBOP Hospice online or maybe left at the service. Mrs White was a lovely woman who allowed me to share David's sandbox and toys during the 1950's in Edgecumbe. She was a close friend to my mum and we did still catch up when they moved to Opotiki and later Ohope. Hugs for the whole family LOVE Sherryl Heavey
