Ivy JONES Obituary

JONES, Ivy (nee Esler). Passed away peacefully at Avonlea Rest Home Taumarunui on 11th April 2014, aged 96. Dearly loved wife of the late Horatio (Horey) Jones. Treasured mother and mother in law of Charles and Judith (Whitianga), Lorraine and the late Brian Edwards (Taumarunui), Tony (deceased) and Barbara Jones (Te Aroha). Much loved Nan of 13, Great Nan of 35, Great Great Nan of 7. She was a women of many talents. Her gentle generous nature, her vitality and her unflagging optimism won the hearts of all who knew her. Her devotion to and unconditional love for her family and friends will live with us forever. She is now at peace with her beloved Horey. A Service for Ivy will be held in St Pauls Co Operating Parish Church Marae Street Taumarunui on Wednesday 16th April at 2pm, followed by Burial at the Taumarunui Cemetery.
