Ivan URLICH Obituary

Urlich, Ivan Steve. aged 97, formerly of Thames, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a long life rich in love, family, and shared memories. Ivan was the devoted husband of Doreen, and a cherished brother to Rita, Eileen, Mai, and Patrick Urlich. Loved brother-in-law to Jack, Bert, Ray (deceased) and Juliet. As an uncle and great uncle, he was deeply loved by Michael, Karen, Elizabeth, Brendon and Toni Jeffs and the Urlich family - Kathy and Glen Maguren, Donna and Tony Wallis, Jackie and Paul Schrijvers, Grant and Cherie Wilson, Bryan Wilson, Kevin O'Rourke (deceased) Michelle O'Rourke, Sarah and Kate Urlich, and their children, each of whom carries their own special memories of time spent with him. Ivan lived a full and generous life, marked by quiet strength, enduring relationships, and held a deep gratitude for having been part of nurturing the growth of the Four Square brand and supermarkets in New Zealand. He will be remembered with affection, gratitude, and respect by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held at Grange Manor, 400 Dominion Road, Mount Eden on Thursday 29 January at 10.30am.
