So many beautiful memories, you were like a father to us. Your smile and happy energy were contagious and your support and love will be never ending. Countless memories of the families around the dining table, enjoying delicious feasts, cooking on the spit, fishing on the boat. Young memories introducing me to bees at Micro world, camaros, synthesizers and guitars; you were pretty cool. Thank you for being a great uncle and you will be missed dearly. Lots of love to Lynn, Stef, Bianca and Laura in these difficult times. Sorry I won't be there to celebrate your life alongside all the singing delis. So many memories, so many great times. You were like a father to us. Your connection to Croatia made ours that much stronger, our families grew up together and you took care of us. The best memories of countless amazing family times around the spit and the dining table, young memories around Camaros, synthesizers and guitars. Just as long as family were around you were the happiest. I will miss your smile, encouragement and your feasts.

Cannot believe that we will never see you again on the bowling green. We are heartbroken as you were the nicest bowler we have ever met. So glad we had a hug and laugh last Tuesday. RIP Ivan

Our thoughts are with you all, Lynn, Laura, Bianca and Stefan and of course your beautiful families. Our family have known Ivan for around 50 years, always smiling, laughing and of course talking.
He was a big man with a big heart, enough love for everyone especially his beautiful family.
He has LIVED! And will live on in all our memories, will miss our catch ups over coffee or a shandy.

Very sad to hear this news. What a wonderful person Ivan was! Always so enthusiastic and full of fun. I will remember his impromptu visits with fondness. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Our condolances go out to the Talaic family at this sad time...Ivan was my boss at Farmers Carpet Cleaning Auckland many years ago....during this time I found myself in abit of peril...and heading down wrong track in life....many people would have given up on me but Ivan pulled me out of that mess...and got me back into the swing of things....I have never and will never forget what this man had done for me....I will always remember you Ivan..and will always be grateful for the input you had in my life...lol...I can hear you laughing...Kia Kaha Lyn and Whanau...our thoughts and best wishes are with you all...Rest easy big fella....Fly free.....Perry&Karin Tangiiau.
