Ivan CLARK Obituary

CLARK, Ivan Stanley. Peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital on Thursday 20 July 2017; aged 73 years. (Formerly N Z Railways). Dearly loved husband for 51 years of Rema; dearly loved father of Dean (Matamata), Joanne and Nick Churan (Otaki), Loved Poppa of Jazzarlya and Alyssa, and Dad of Joey. Respected father in law of Trudy Clark (Auckland). In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. These may be left at the service. A service for Ivan will be held at the Presbyterian Church, Mill Road, Otaki on Tuesday 25 July at 2pm followed by private cremation at Horowhenua Crematorium, Levin. terribly sad news one of my fondest memories is of Ivan giving Dean a hard time then turning to me pipe in hand and winking always good for a laugh and a great man

Cherished Father in law of Trudy Clark
Opinionated, argumentative and we wouldn't have wanted you any other way.
Ivan the story/joke teller who put a smile on our face's even when we had heard the same one several times before.
A wonderful Father in law who treated me like a daughter and whom I will remember with love, kindness and I thank you for many years of interesting memories.
The brothers are back together I can see the sparks fly

CLARK, Ivan Stanley. Born April 18, 1944. Passed away on July 20, 2017. much loved father of Dean and partner Megan and poppa of Cosmo (dog) and Gizmo (cat). Will be greatly missed but now at peace.
