BENTON, Ivan William George. (Service No. NZ1525, Petty Officer, RNZN, WWII). Passed away at Thames Hospital, on 11 March, 2011; aged 89 years. Husband of the late Joy, loved father of Sally, Kim, Jan, Stephanie, and Jeffrey. Grandfather of James, Adele (deceased), Amanda; Karl, Hiran, Kristina; Michelle, and Jennifer. Loved brother of Don (deceased), Cath, and the late Len, and Alan. Ivan's family wish to thank all the caregivers of Ivan at Tairua Aged Care. A celebration of Ivan's life will be held at St George The Martyr Anglican Church, Mackay Street, Thames, ON SATURDAY 19 MARCH, AT 1PM, followed by private cremation. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF DAY - NOW SATURDAY.
