I last saw my Nana's cousin on Saturday. My Nana was Audrey Margaret Boseley (nee Tod) and all 3 of us share the same middle name. I knew her from a small child, as "Aunty" Isobel and over the past couple of years I popped in to see her periodically. She was as sharp as a tack and fun to spend time with. We laughed together and talked about the people we love and the people we both know, those living and those long since passed.

Both being Health Care Professionals we talked about her wellness, her medications, her prognosis and her acceptance of being 95-and-a-half and ready to make peace, she said it was "time for her to go".

I asked if I could take a photo of her and some of the flowers she had received from my Uncle. I took 3 photos and let her select the best one to send to him. I will share this photo with you, taken a week before her funeral.

Isobel was a gracious and kind lady with a quick and brilliant mind. I will miss her and send my condolences to all her family, friends and those who cared for her.
