Isabel SEAL Obituary

Lis was my dear and longtime friend, a true servant of God, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had an amazing sense of humour- we would often laugh ourselves into stitches after one of her dry comments. She bore some very hard blows in life, yet never lost her trust in God. I will miss her terribly.

SEAL, Lis. It was with profound sadness that we learned of Lis Seal's unexpected and untimely death, on Sunday. Lis helped to set up the Bethlehem College Uniform Shop in the 90's and ran it successfully ever since. A humble and dedicated businesswoman, Lis' heart was to firstly serve the Lord and secondly to be a welcoming friend to every new family. She thoughtfully considered the outfitting of many a doctor, athlete, lawyer, actor, scientist, electrician and more over her more than 30 years at Bethlehem College. We honour her service and contribution, with great gratitude. To Roger, Dan and family we extend our love and condolences. We grieve her passing, but rejoice in her inheritance. A small, private funeral is being held by family for a limited number of guests. May we all endeavour to live the kind of life where we are told, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.
