Dear Knox, It was a joy and privilege to be counted among your friends. Your incredible spirit in the face of difficulties was inspirational. I was always lifted out of gloom just by being with you. I'll always miss you. See you in heaven! Love Judy xxx

My dear friend Knox. Knox lived with my family during his PhD in optometry, becoming a member of our family and a close friend for eternity, like a bother.

He was a true scientist, researcher and inventor with an inquisitive mind to understand the mind, vision and eyes. I could always count on having a truly inspiring and intellectual discussion with Knox on any subject.
He was extremely well read and worldly.

Knox, despite his long legs, could still fit into a Morris Mini 850cc that he had rebuilt from front to back and top to bottom.

I will, and we all will miss Knox, a man of the highest integrity, honesty and righteousness.

I thank Fran for giving Knox such peace and happiness in the second half of his adult life.
May he RIP.

We all feel we have gotten to know Knox a little through Shonag and always enjoy the parcel of inventions she receives. We will all miss his visits, his chats and in particular, his excitement of being with Shoang at work. Our hearts are hurting for you , sending love to you Shonag, Jackson and all your family. Your Wellie Team xxx

Thinking of you all at this sad time.
Knox was a special classmate who never stopped learning and never lost his desire to have Optometry taught in the best possible way.
I was privileged to study with him from the first days of the NZ Optometry course. He was a good friend and I enjoyed hearing of his new ideas over many years.
I share a little of your loss.
My thoughts and prayers are will you.
