Irma King Obituary

KING, Irma May (nee Stevenson). Of Hamilton on 15 January, 2011 peacefully after a brief illness. Born in Nightcaps on October 16, 1936. Survived by her loving husband David; her devoted children and their spouses: Heather and Michael Cave; Peter; Andrew and Anne; Philip and Bridget; Stephen and Catherine; and Benjamin and Rebecca; her brothers, Roger and Ian; her sister, Annette; and eleven grandchildren. Irma May had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. Irma May was also an active member of the Institute of Registered Music Teachers of New Zealand, and an old girl of Solway College, Masterton. A celebration of Irma May's life will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday 19th January at Gateway Christian Centre at 950 Victoria Street, Hamilton, followed by a family burial. Contributions in lieu of flowers should be made to Hospice Waikato.
