Iris MARTIN Obituary

MARTIN, Iris Gwendolyn. Peacefully at Tairua Residential Care, on 29th August, 2015; aged 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank, and mother of Andrew, and Tim. Loved Nanny of all her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. A celebration of Iris' life will be held at Twentymans Grahamstown Chapel, Kirkwood Street, Thames, on Wednesday 2nd September, at 11am, followed by interment at the Pukekohe Cemetery, Wellington Street, Pukekohe, at 2.30pm.

Remembered as a super loving aunty that enjoyed giving and receiving lots of hugs. One of my lasting memories was Iris and Frank singing old gospel hymns in glorious harmony. Iris was so caring and loved to bring gifts which where always appreciated when you are a child. Her son, Andrew and I share the same birthday. April 5th
Iris lived a long life and will be missed. She was the second to last of our family generation to pass on to glory. There will be great rejoicing over there. Paul and Rachael Skilleter -USA
