Irene ROSS Obituary

ROSS, Irene (nee Krukziener). It is with great sadness that we advise of the passing of Irene Ross (Krukziener) in Calgary Canada. Irene was the dearly loved wife of Stuart, treasured mother of Katherine and Daniel and grandmother of Damien. She was a Jewish child born in Nazi occupied Amsterdam May 22nd 1940, hidden by a Christian family as a two year old until she was 5. She moved to New Zealand with her mother and stepfather as a teenager and attended Epsom Girls Grammar. Irene was totally committed to her family, her community and gave endlessly to others - including Elderly care, to music at the Mount Royal Conservatory, many other community causes and to her friends. Her memory will be treasured for her quiet kindness, compassion and warmth of character. Communications [email protected]
