BURTT, Ilene Margaret. On Friday, 27 June 2025, surrounded by family at Whakatane Hospital aged 88 years. Adored wife of the late Phil. Cherished mother of Graeme and Claudia Burtt, Barbara and Martin Bercic, Adam and Norma Burtt. Much loved grandma of Piripi, Danielle and Nicole. Beloved sister of Ben, Doreen, John and Elizabeth. A beautiful woman, now at rest. A celebration of Ilene's life will be held in Church of St George and St John, 30 Domain Road, Whakatane, tomorrow, Wednesday, 2 July at 1:30pm, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to EBOP Hospice and maybe left at the service.
