Ila MORRIS Obituary

MORRIS, Ila Betty (Betty). 11 July 1938 - 9 March 2021. Loving wife of Charles Albert Morris (deceased), mother and mother-in-law of John (Hastings), Willie and Adrianne (Elsthorpe), Charmaine and Shane (Rotorua), Peter (Waipukurau), and Shirley (Perth, Australia). Nan to her many mokos and great- mokos. In the presence of and surrounded by the love of family, Betty decided enough was enough, leaving us to join others who have gone before her (and have a drink with Emma - happy 60th Cuzzy). Many thanks to Heather, Uncle Haami for his wealth of knowledge and kind words, Cousin Trish you were Amazing, Whanau and friends who supported Mum and us, Peter and Scotty for the haka - wow, for those that gave koha. Thanks to Dr. Paddy O'Brian for his great care of Mum over the years and his support of her family, Dianne Reid for all she did for Mum, Kirsten, Ward Staff CHB Healthcare, lastly to Tracy Ivamy and all the wonderful staff at Woburn Rest Home, Waipukurau. Your care of Betty and her family was truly outstanding and greatly appreciated. As per Betty's wishes, a private family service and cremation took place on 11 March 2021.
