Ian YOUNG Obituary

YOUNG, Ian Stanley. L80671 RNZAF. Passed away at Waipuna Hospice on 6 January 2026. Aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband of Pam. A much-loved father and father-in-law of Tim and Annette, Aaron and Joncey, and Elena. Loved granddad of Joseph, Marius, Mitchell, Baileigh, Nathan, Innes, Jack, and Issac. Great-granddad to Faye-Louise, Jaxon, Lexi, Ava, Ardyn, and Mia. A Requiem Mass to celebrate and remember Ian will be held at All Saints by the Sea, The Church of Saint Thomas More, 17 Gloucester Road, Mount Maunganui, on Saturday 10 January 2026 at 1.00pm followed by private cremation. To Pam and family.
You might not remember us but we frequented Mass at SA with you both over the last 4 years.
We are so sorry to hear of Ians passing as have been away on holiday and didn´t know.
Heard at Mass in Te Puke tonight and would have attended the requiem if had known.
Loved Ian´s music.
