VALLENDER, Ian Walter. Sunrise 16/6/1928 Sunset 23/5/2023 It is with a heavy heart and much sadness that we announce the passing of our loved taonga. Devoted and loved husband of the late Ripeka Vallender (nee Hakopa) father to Sharon, Basil, Raelene, Matekino (deceased), Sylvia, Wiremu and Henare. Step dad to Darby (deceased), Beba (deceased), Koro and Rauroha. Father in law, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle to many. Ian will be making his way from Auckland to Tarimano Marae, Awahou at 1200 Thursday 25/05/23. Whanau and friends are invited to join us for dads tangihanga with final service and burial at Puhirua Urupa Awahou on Saturday 27/05/2023. Nga mihi aroha nga te whanau
