Ian Sloan Obituary

SLOAN, Ian Douglas (Ned). Tragically on October 17, 2011 aged 59 years, as a result of an air accident. Dearly loved son of Betty and the late Ern Sloan (Mt Maunganui). Much loved father of Anna Clearwater and family (Balfour). A loved step- father of Wayne Candy (Perth). Dearly loved brother of Shona (Te Awamutu), and a loved uncle of Kathleen (Perth) and the late Sam. Will be missed by many, "Fly Free Ned." A service for Ned will be held at Baypark Function Centre, 81 Truman Road, Mt Maunganui on Tuesday 25th October at 1pm thereafter private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Trustpower Tect Rescue Helicopter, PO Box 14077, Tauranga 3140 would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
