Ian SIMPSON Obituary

SIMPSON, Ian Bruce. Died peacefully on October 30th 2023, aged 92 years. Loved partner of Rachel, and husband to the late Bryanne. Treasured and deeply loved father to Wendy, David, Debbie and father in law to Mac. Adored "Stick Pa" to Rebecca, Campbell, Lauren, Paul , Rowena, Ruby, Brendon, Hope, Alex, and Tammy. Cherished great grandfather to Sophia, Amelia, Jai, Taylor and Fox. Never to be forgotten ... You will always be in our hearts. A service to remember the life of Ian will be held at St Pauls Anglican Church, Marsden Road, Paihia on Wednesday November 8th 2023 at 1pm followed by a private cremation. There will be an opportunity to socialize and share further memories after the service. Special thanks to the fabulous staff at both Ward 15, Whangarei Hospital and Radius Baycare Resthome, who looked after Ian so well during his final weeks. In lieu of flowers, cash donations can be made to the Northland Eagles for the Halberg Sports Disability Foundation, a cause very close to Ian's heart (a receipt can be produced.)
