Ian NIELSEN Obituary

NIELSEN, Ian. Passed away on Monday, 29 January 2024, at Mercy Hospice, in his 79th year. Ian was born on 27 February 1945 in Onehunga, Auckland and was one of the last Master Blacksmiths in New Zealand. He is survived by his sons Kim and Niels, Kim's partner Sandi Good and their children Chase and Summer; his partner Sandy Schade and his brother Paul. His passing leaves a huge hole in our hearts. Ian's funeral will be held at All Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Friday, 9 February at 12:00 noon.
