Ian LEIGHTON Obituary

I forgot to say hardly anyone around here knows about Ians passing,due to it not being in local papers,or saying where he lived in death notice. I only heard about it yesterday ,by chance.Barbara.

Hi,I am a long time neighbour of Ian.Our family is very sad to learn of Ians sudden death.We saw him recently armed with a cresent trying to fix our communal water supply.Often saw Ian while out walking,usually he was picking up rubbish, not just on his way into Kaiwaka,but all around the local area.He had strong opinions on most subjects,I didnt very often agree with his views,but he was a good neighbour,a good member of the community,and had a kind nature.He will be missed.Barbara Leslie and sons,Craig,Phillip and Steven
