Ian KEMP Obituary

KEMP, Ian Stanley. Born March 25, 1926. Passed away on December 23, 2016. Peacefully in his sleep after a short illness. Loved husband of Juliette and the late Elizabeth. Father of Helen, Martyn and Hugh. Survived also by sister Olwyn Pound, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Memorial service to be held at Selwyn Village Chapel, Pt Chevalier, 11am, 31st December. No flowers thanks: retiring offering to support Christian mission. Gone to be with the Lord he loved. Maranatha.

Was like a father to me.Baptised me in the Tab. About the same day he passed away in 1974.Will miss you dear friend until we meet up with the Lord.

KEMP, Rev Ian Stanley. On December 23 2016 passed peacefully on to Glory, aged 90 years. Loved and loving husband of Juliette (formerly Urquhart). Papa to Theresa, James and Timothy and their families. Sincere appreciation to the carers and nurses at Sarah Selwyn Hospital. Psalm 37:3-4

KEMP, Rev Ian Stanley. Graduated to Glory on 23 December, aged 90. A passionate worker for His Lord, as expressed through his ministry and support of Laidlaw College, Interserve, Scripture Union, TSCF, Union Biblical Seminary (India) the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle and other churches, missionaries, and in prison ministry. Countless individuals across the world found faith and a love for the Scriptures through his life of service, preaching, teaching, mentoring and friendship. Unitedly we thank the Lord for our dear Brother Ian.
