Ian, I have so many memories of you and your special sense of humor you always made me laugh while trying to keep a straight face. You are one person who I will never forget. Condolences to Anne and the rest of the family. Rest in peace Ian, you will be missed but never forgotten.

Anne and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of such great loss. Ian will be remembered as a true gentleman whose kindness and thoughtfulness touched so many.
His beautiful rendition of Danny Boy, among other favourite songs, will forever bring a tear to my eye. The gain for Heaven“s choir will continue to be our great loss.
May angels comfort and support you all.

The whole Wallis family grew up in Patumahoe alongside our dear friends the Jamiesons, who we shared holidays adventures and projects with, and who remain important people for us all. We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Ian, who will no longer roam the fields of Franklin in his tractor. I especially will miss Ian's humour and a laugh about the angel's share of the Jameson's whisky since he can share that now. Much love on behalf of all our family.
