Dear Jean
I have only just seen the notice of Ians passing.........our love and thoughts are with you, cant imagine how you are feeling but hope that you are surrounded by much love and family.
It was so good to know you both , if ever so briefly.

Dear Jean...My heart hurts for you and your darling Ian. He always called me Big Sis, and was a very dear friend to my Don and I from our 1st. meeting in Ft. Lauderdale Fla. in 1956. Your were the light & love in his life, and we were overjoyed when you married & joined your families together. Although I have never met you, you will remain in my heart as my sister in NZ, as Ian will always be my "Big Bro". Much Love... Karen Smith

I think of the wonderful man Ian was. Always bright and welcoming and so willing to help in any way he could.I have so enjoyed the wonderful times Jen and I have shared with you both. May Ian rest in peace.

Ian was no bystander, always offering help and advice if he could, he was an amazing support to my brothers and mother. Ian always had a good story at any gatherings, was keen to hear what everyone was up to and always welcomed us with huge bear hugs and the biggest smile. We are thinking of you all with Aroha Tui, Dean, Maggie and Kate xoxo

Sad to read of Ian´s passing. He was a work associate & drove a pool car collecting a full car everyday. It was a pleasure to be know him over 20 years of my working life.

One of life's true gentleman. We will miss your ever smiling face at the "neighbours" get togethers. RIP Ian
