Ian HAYWARD Obituary

HAYWARD, Ian Irving. Born 20 April 1944. Son of Keith and Mary and brother of Lex. Ian passed away peacefully at home 14 August 2024, aged 80 years. Ian was a wonderful and dedicated husband to Helen, an amazing dad to both Brendon and Philippa, loved father-in-law to Rochelle and Bevan, and a wonderful grandfather to his treasured grandchildren Angelique, Payton, Tristan, Ben and Luke and Lindsey. The family welcomes you to celebrate Ian's life on Tuesday 20th August at 1.00pm at Newberry's Funeral Home Cnr Kamo & Moody Ave Whangarei. Dear Helen and family. I was so terribly sad to hear that Ian had passed away, and my thoughts are with you all. I remember both Ian and Helen as extremely kind and supportive humans. I would come to the funeral today but I am laid up with a very nasty flu (which I would not wish on anyone). Please know that Paul and I are holding you in the light at this very hard time.
