My deepest condolences to Lorna, Jo and Michael. Ian was a gentleman and a scholar for sure. Always willing to lend a hand if needed and never too busy to have a chat.
I remember him running the streets of Manukau and wishing I had half his energy even though I was probably half his age. Gone but not forgotten. Rest in peace Ian.

My sincere condoleances,
Ian was a very important person for me. I feel very lucky to have spent a lot of time with Lorna and him, especially travelling accross the french cannals and when we were coming to NZ. I will always cherish those memories and keep them in my heart.
I always felt Ian and Lorna were a little like grandparents for me.
All my thoughts goes to Lorna, Jo, Michael and his family.

Ian, always a gentleman, a good sort, a joker, enthusiast, especially in his Bridge games, and his One-No-Trump. May you achieve those Grand Slams wherever you are.
To Lorna our love and condolences. Frances, on behalf of Manurewa Bridge Club
