Ian GARDINER Obituary

Gardiner, Ian Robert. He reached his 79th birthday - both of them. We nearly made 48 years together and in that time he was my rock, my joy, my consolation.  I told him recently he was the best thing that ever happened to me, and I will miss him so much.  A service to celebrate his life will be held at Grange Manor, 400 Dominion Road, Mt Eden, on Friday 5th December at 10:30am.  All correspondence c/o Davis Funerals PO Box 56013, Auckland 1446. Ian. The left hand to John´s right......except he actuallly knew what both hands were doing!
Sending you all the love in the world to heal from this heartbreak.
I will always remember Ian from our days in musical theatre......way back in the 80´s. Ian´s love for theatre was strong, and his dedication second to none. I will miss him dearly.

Ian and John, you will always be a team to me no matter what. Very sad news. Ian the most kind, caring, gentle person always interested in everything and everyone. Thank you. Talented and hard working you will be hugely missed. John and family, you´re on my mind. Especially on Friday and in the quiet times following. Rest peacefully Ian.
