Sorry I missed this. I have fond memories of Ian from Boy's Brigade in Birkenhead along with his two brothers Bill and Dave. We were also at Westlake together and his Dad was a dean there. Sincere condolences to you all.

Dear Janeen and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Ian's passing.
Ian was a wonderful , warm hearted and kind principal of Otaua primary school. All the children loved him and he was a fabulous supporter of staff. He could always make everyone laugh!
Our thoughts are with your family.
