To Barbara, Chris & Adrian,
I found out about Ian's passing last evening and am sending my sympathy to you all at this difficult time.
It is many years since I saw Ian, but we had some contact via email about 18 months ago regarding our DNA match on Ancestry.com and some other family info. I remember great-auntie Audrey was always so proud of Ian and his acheivements, as she was of all her family.
Love to you all, Lesley Haslip (nee Wenzlick)

Tying cousin Bobby to a tree at Tapu .Loving the Goon Show, Staying with Auntie Beverly Uncle Don and their Boxer Dog. Me crashing into Doug Muirs Fence at the bottom of the hill when my brakes failed. Trying on each others uniform in Herne Bay. Ian yo will live in my memories for as long as I Live. We send our loving thoughts to you all.
John recalls the sorties on the 5 Sqn Orions with " von B" to Hawaii, Singapore, Austalia and the Pacific islands during exercises and search and rescue flights. Ian always had a great sense of humour and was very skilled as a pilot,
