Ian BODE Obituary

BODE, Ian Hendrik. Born 5th December 1948 in Surabaya, Java, Indonesia passed away peacefully on 17th December 2025. Son of the late Hendrik and Betty Bode, and older brother to Stuart and Robert. Much loved father of Nick, Simon and Josie. Father-in- law to Fee and dearly loved Grandad of Riley and Paige. A huge thank you to the team at Lexham Gardens for the care given to Ian. To Nicole, your devoted and unconditional support of Ian has been incredibly touching and very much appreciated. A memorial will be held for Ian in Auckland at a later date, and one last trip to our beloved Kinloch. Tight lines dad xxx

Ian was a great friend and provided wonderful Legal advice and support when the Kinloch Community Structure Plan was developed during the early 2000s'
Our deepest sympathy to all the Bode family.
