BARROWMAN, Ian George (Jock). On July the 3rd 2024, at the Harbour Hospice North Shore, Jock passed away peacefully after a short illness, bravely fought surrounded by family. Treasured friend of Nette, beloved step dad of Mark, Lisa and girls. Much loved brother of Sally and Ray, Bruce and Lee, Pete and Marcia, Alastair and Anne. Loved uncle Jocko to his many nieces and nephews. No more procrastinating Jocko, rest in peace. The funeral will be held on the 12 July 24 at 12.30 pm, Main chapel 220 Universal Drive Henderson.

Jock you will be greatly missed by us all. Thank you for the treasured friendship you had with our Mum and Nana and everything you did for her, for teaching Luke how to shear a sheep and fencing, and all the other knowledge shared from being a true kiwi bloke and stoic gentlemen. RIP and lots of love from Mandy, Mike, Katie, Luke and James x

Hi Jock - I can only be grateful to have the last 18 months spent with you and our relationship that we had. You will be missed so very much but I can still hear our chatter that we had. I am only pleased that you are no longer in pain but that you are warm and cosy in the blanket that you were very proud of and I was proud to give it to you. RIP and smile !!!
