Ian BARNETT Obituary

BARNETT, Ian William (Tim). Sadly passed away on 8th Feb 2026, aged 89. Dearly loved and treasured husband of June. Loved Father and Father-in law of Shona, Karen and Mark, Rod and Pam. Adored Grandad and Poppa of all his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Tim served with the Putaruru Volunteer Fire Brigade from 1953 - 1988 and was appointed CFO in 1968, dedicating 35 years of his life to his community. Special thankyou to Management and Staff at Kenwyn Rest Home, Te Aroha for their kindness and care for Tim over the past three months. His is forever loved and dearly missed.
