Hugh HEAPS Obituary

HEAPS, Hugh Wilson. On 12 December 2014; in his 93 year. At Lansdowne, CHT, Hugh's home of the past 3.5 years. Husband of the late Val, for 63 years. Father and father-in-law, of Geoffrey and Carmen, Phillipa (Pip) and Paul. Grandfather of Simon, Andrew and Matthew Heaps; David, Amanda and Louise Bishop. Great grandfather of Josephine and Finlay Hugh Bishop-Amedro. A true gentleman, Hugh was a cherished father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Greatly loved, sadly missed, and never forgotten. A service and celebration of Hugh's life will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 17 Selwyn Road,Howick, Auckland on Friday 19 December at 2.30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Starship Children's Hospital Foundation, PO Box 9389 Newmarket, Auckland 1149, would be much appreciated.
