So sad to think 'Uncle' Hugh has passed away - I have so many lovely memories of times shared by the Kershaw and Findlater families. I last saw Hugh at the joint lunch for my late mother Pat Kershaw's 90th birthday and my brother John Kershaw's 60th birthday. As always, it was a joy to talk with him. My love and condolences to the family. Pam Kershaw.

Hugh had left NAC by the time I joined but I heard many stories about him. Later, whilst I was flying in Nigeria on leave without pay from NAC Hugh came down for a final stint. It was a pleasure to fly with him and I enjoyed his company immensely. A true gentleman and representative of that last great generation.

Sending much love to you all. I spent memorable times up at Kawau with Hugh. The shed was stuff of legend, as legendary as his sharp dry wit and countless stories. Was a pleasure to have known him.
