We have only just heard of Hugh's death and like others, are shattered. What a loss to our community! Not just a fine lawyer but a lovely man and old family friend. So sorry to have missed the funeral and our thoughts are very much with Richard, Anna and Caroline as well as Hugh's more immediate family.

The loss of Hugh from the family must be devistating. We have talked over the years about his family and the pleasure they gave him. To us we have only had one advisor for the last 40 years and I do not know where I am going to find a person that I can trust so much.Live on with the memories of a lovely man.

We are so deeply saddened to hear of Hugh's passing. He has given us great service for many years and was so trustworthy and a pleasure to deal with. Such a special man, gone too soon.

I worked in offices on the same floor as Hugh, Richard and their staff at the Victoria Business Centre in 2004. They were all lovely people and invited me to pizza on the occasional Friday after work. Hugh and I shared a love of tennis but never got to play. Hugh was a lovely man, brimming with warmth and someone I could implicitly trust with my business. I'm deeply saddened by his death and my thoughts are with his family.

Farewell Hugh. I only caught up with you again two years ago when you attended my mother's "celebration of life". Our lives crossed paths many times as we were growing up and it was a pleasure to know you and have such good memories. My thoughts are with your family. Nicky Tutt (Nurse) Canada

My sincere condolences to Hugh's family and apologies that I was not able to attend his celebration of life service with you. I first met Hugh and his family at Gore Bay a good number of years ago. In more recent years Hugh had assisted me and my family with our legal requirements, always friendly and a real help at times, very professional. He was a real gentleman. My thoughts are with you all this time of loss. Warm regards. Caralyn Way & family
