Howard HOLMES Obituary

HOLMES, Howard Brent (Howie). It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Howard Brent Holmes, born 29 December 1953, who left us on 27 January 2025, aged 71. Howie, a beloved father, grandfather and friend, was surrounded by his loving family during his final days after a brief but intense battle following a heart attack. Howie was the devoted father of Brent, Aaron, Emma, Sophie, Nathan, and Daniel, and Grandfather to Cameron, Johnathon, Georgia and Bradley, whose lives he touched with his unwavering love, guidance, and generosity. He cherished his family deeply and was an integral part of their lives. Howies journey on this earth may have come to an end, but his memory and the love he gave will remain with his family and all who were fortunate to know him. His legacy will continue through the lives of his children, and he will be forever remembered. A service will be held to honour Howard's life at 2pm Monday 3rd of February at H Morris Funeral Services, 31 Ocean View Road, Northcote followed by drinks to celebrate his life at the Glenfield Rugby Club.
