Hori KATENE-RAUAHI Obituary

KATENE-RAUAHI, Hori Hiri Hirini (Papa George). Loving husband of Heather, Father of Robert, Royce, Rico, Ricadonna, Remedy and many whangae and many mokopuna and one new mokomoko. Died at home with whānau after a short illness. Tangihanga held at Motatau Marae. Service at 11am on Thursday, 6 June 2024. Burial at 12pm at the Tumutumu wahitapu (cemetery). My condolences to your family in the passing of a lovely man. Meet George when he worked for my Dad for regent training. He always would stop and say hi, last was him when he came into my work at Church. We talked for a while, while the other guy did the work haha. George I will miss your friendly chats and lovely smile. Rest in peace my friend. Katrina Andrew (née Maugham)
