PANOHO, Hohepa (Joe). 356648 GNR & PTE Joseph 1NZ Regt Malaya - 161 BTY Vietnam 1940 - 2014 Beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. Bravely fought his last battle. Passed away at the North Shore Hospital 20th October 2014. God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be, he wrapped his arms around you and whispered 'come to me.' Keep your arms around him Lord and give him special care. Make up for all he suffered and all that seemed unfair. There will be a service today at The North Shore Memorial Park Chapel, Schnapper Rock at 2.30pm, followed by refreshments. Following the service Joe will be taken back to Takahiwai Marae, Takahiwai. Dear Shirley. So sorry to read of Joe's death. My mother (Edna Anderson) always enjoyed playing cards when she visited Ted and Ellen.
