TURNOCK, Hilary Rose (nee Gardiner). 5 February 1932 - 20 November 2016. Daughter of Hugh Ludwig Gardiner and Aielie Therese Drum . Sister of Desmond Gardiner, Mary Blake (deceased) and Dorothy Ker (Sister Dorothy). Beloved wife of Allan Leslie Turnock for 63 years, 6 months. Sister-in-law of Anita Agnew, Edna and Reg Dye, Merle Turnock, Beverly Turnock and Faye Gardiner. Dearly loved mother of Paul, Mary (deceased 1967), Chanelle, Timothy, Sarah, Bernadette (deceased 1965), Damian (deceased 2005)), Mark, Nigel, Philip, Dominic, Justin and Thomas. Mother-in-law to Francis, Helen and Karen, (Charlie, Fern, Pen and Arti). Defacto mother of Kitt and Sonia (Paula, Lorraine, Merilyn, Rebecca and Sally). Grandmother of Amy, Guido, Remiah, Taurean, Simon, Luke, Joshua, Isabel, Emily, Celeste, David, Taylor, Savoy, Cameron, Jack, Lucy, Marcelle and Olivia. Great grandmother of Beata. Finally, Rose rests in peace. Perpetual light shines upon her. Eternal rest is hers. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 66 Main Highway, Ellerslie, Friday 25th of November at 11am. A Rosary will be held in the above church on Thursday 24th November 7pm.
